Wow… what a long time since my last touch with this piece of excellence. We used this machine for web and email server for… i forget… wait… Referred from my post here to there… yes, 4 consecutive years, using 8 + 17 GB SCSI drives, UltraSPARC 167MHz processor, and 128 RAM for web server, email server, and some additional services.
Now after last shutdown almost 3 years ago, someone ask me if he can buy my old “full of memories” Ultra 1. Hohoho… I said, “wait ’till I check whether it’s still can boot up or not”. And here I am, reinstalling Solaris 8 in this machine.
